Changelog

Latest release notes and updates for the Waiver Sniper extension.

v1.3.0 Latest
October 1, 2026
Enhancement
Execution Window Expanded: Increased the active polling window from 120 minutes to 240 minutes to ensure claims are properly executed even when Yahoo experiences severe waiver processing delays up to 6:00 AM EST.
Enhancement
Queue Bypass Logic: Upgraded the execution engine so if your #1 priority player is locked on waivers, the system will immediately attempt to snipe your #2 and #3 targets if they are free agents, rather than strictly blocking the entire queue.
Fix
Schedule Auto-Heal: Implemented an auto-correction mechanism that prevents a league's schedule from accidentally jumping a week ahead if the extension popup is opened during an active polling window.
Fix
Yahoo Error Handling: Rebuilt the Yahoo transaction scraper to correctly parse and abort on Error #1140 (Maximum Roster Size) instead of infinitely retrying when users forget to select a player to drop.
Fix
Taken Player Resolution: Transactions where a player was acquired by another team during the waiver process will now immediately register as Complete instead of falsely triggering a success message.
New
Diagnostic Logger: Added a "Logs" button to the top header. Clicking this instantly copies a timestamped report of your background execution history, local alarms, and UI interactions directly to your clipboard for easy troubleshooting with support.
v1.2.0
September 30, 2026
Fix
Yahoo Auth: Updated the email validation scraper to exclude Yahoo corporate/recruiting addresses (e.g., `sportsjobs@yahooinc.com`) that were causing false fatal rejections during live transactions.
Fix
Yahoo Crumb Extraction: Tightened the crumb token parser to ignore the Yahoo Fantasy Chat widget payload, which was causing the extension to fail authentication on the transaction POST request.
UI / UX
ESPN League Display: ESPN leagues will now properly extract and display their custom team names in the dropdown menu instead of duplicating their internal League ID.
UI / UX
Added a helper note beneath the ESPN platform selector explaining that all active ESPN leagues must be open in Chrome tabs to load properly due to ESPN's data structure.
v0.9.9
September 24, 2026
Milestone
Final beta release before our official v1.0 launch. This update locks in core execution stability across Yahoo, ESPN, and Sleeper leagues.
Fix
Fixed an issue where the extension's background timer would go to sleep and skip overnight waiver claims. Scheduled snipes are now guaranteed to trigger on time.
Fix
Resolved a login bug that prevented ESPN leagues and rosters from loading correctly for some users.
Fix
Fixed a glitch where switching between platforms (like from Yahoo to ESPN) would occasionally bounce back to the previous screen.
UI / UX
The "Scheduled Snipes" section now clearly displays your active league name so you always know which team's queue you are managing.
UI / UX
Cleaned up the interface layout to display more players in the Add/Drop lists at once without unnecessary scrolling.
UI / UX
Added a direct FAQ link to the top header and clarified overnight stay-awake instructions for both Mac and Windows users.
Enhancement
Added detailed diagnostic logging to help identify why a claim was rejected or blocked by a league platform.
